Refund policy

At RunWithFreedom, we want you to run with confidence. We stand behind the quality of our gear. However, we understand that sometimes a fit isn't quite right, or you may change your mind.

Our standard return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase arrived, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange for unwanted items.

1. Eligibility for Returns (Change of Mind)

To be eligible for a return within the 30-day window, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must meet the following criteria:

  • Unworn and Unused: You can try the vest on for size indoors to check the fit, but it cannot be worn on an outdoor run or workout.
  • Original Packaging: It must be returned in its original packaging with all product tags fully attached.
  • Hygiene Exception: For health and safety reasons, hydration soft flasks and mouthpieces cannot be returned if they have been opened, filled with liquid, or if the protective hygiene seal is broken, unless the item is fundamentally faulty.

2. Returns and Refunds on Promotional Bundles

If you purchase items as part of a promotional bundle or multi-buy offer (such as our "Buy 2 Vests for £39.99" deal) and choose to return only a portion of that bundle, your refund will be calculated as a partial refund rather than a straight split.

When a multi-buy bundle is broken by a partial return, any items you choose to keep automatically revert to their original, full individual retail price (Standard Single Vest retail price: £29.99). Your partial refund will consist solely of the difference between the total bundle price paid at checkout and the full individual retail price of the item(s) you retain.

Example of Partial Bundle Refund Calculation:
• You purchase 2 Vests on a bundle deal for £39.99.
• You return 1 Vest and choose to keep 1 Vest.
• The 1 Vest you retain reverts to its full individual retail price of £29.99.
• Your total refund will be exactly £10.00 (£39.99 bundle price paid minus the £29.99 price of the retained vest), less any original shipping fees where applicable.

To receive a full 100% refund for a bundle deal, all items included within that specific bundle transaction must be returned together in their original, unused condition with all original packaging and tags intact.

3. How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, please email us at info@runwithfreedom.com with the following details:

  • Your Order Number (e.g., #RWF1001)
  • The exact name of the item(s) you wish to return
  • Your specific reason for the return (e.g., "Size didn't fit," "Change of mind")

We will reply with instructions on how to securely package and send your items back to us. Please review the shipping cost and address rules below before posting your items.

4. Crucial Return Address Warning

Do NOT send returns to our main registered business address. This address is an administrative office, not our warehouse fulfillment location. If you mail your package to our registered office address, your package will be lost, tracking cannot be verified, and your refund cannot be processed or honored. Please contact us first so we can authorize your return and provide the correct warehouse return shipping information.

5. Shipping Costs for Returns

Change of Mind or Cancellations: If you wish to return a product simply because you do not want it, have changed your mind, or are exercising your 14-day statutory right to cancel under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, the cost of returning the product falls strictly to the consumer. You will be responsible for paying for your own return shipping costs. Original shipping fees paid at checkout are non-refundable.

Faulty or Guarantee Claims: Any returns for legitimate faulty items or validated warranty claims will have their return shipping costs fully covered or reimbursed by us (Run With Freedom).

6. Processing Refunds

Once your return is physically received at our warehouse and inspected by our team, we will send you an email notifying you that we have received your item. We will also notify you of the official approval or rejection of your refund request.

  • Approval: If approved, your refund will be immediately processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5 to 10 business days.
  • Rejection: If the item arrives damaged, appears worn, has been washed, or is missing its original tags/packaging, we reserve the right to reject the refund or apply a diminished value fee.

7. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have received an approval confirmation but have not seen the funds in your account yet, please follow these steps:

  • Check your bank account or payment processor statement again.
  • Contact your credit card company or banking institution; it often takes a few business days of processing time before a refund is officially posted to your ledger.
  • If you have completed these steps and still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@runwithfreedom.com.

8. Exchanges

We only directly replace items if they arrive defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for a different size or color, the fastest and most efficient process is to return your original item for a standard refund and place a brand new order for the correct item on our storefront.

9. Damaged or Faulty Goods (Consumer Rights)

Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have a statutory legal right to reject goods that are of unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose, or not as described. If your running vest or hydration flask arrives damaged or develops a manufacturing fault within 30 days of delivery, please email us immediately with photos of the issue so we can arrange a full refund or a free replacement.

10. The RunWithFreedom 2-Year Guarantee

We build our gear to handle the toughest miles. That is why every RunWithFreedom vest comes with our comprehensive 2-Year Guarantee on the physical build of the product.

  • What is covered? If any part of the vest's core construction fails—including zippers, stitching, buckles, or fabric integrity—within two years of your original purchase date, we will replace it. Proof of purchase directly from our store is strictly required.
  • How it works: If the structural build of the product fails under normal training use, we will replace it. Simply email info@runwithfreedom.com with your original order number and clear photos of the damage. Once verified, we will arrange to send out a brand new replacement vest completely free of charge.
